In our fandom, we have fantastic artists that make the most beautiful drawings. We have great graphic designers that make quotes from the books seem like something more than words from a page. We have hilarious fans that make the funniest confessions that I burst out laughing to. We have so much patience when it comes to our movie, but no matter how much time it will take, we all know we will be there at the midnight premiere, jumping and screaming (even if we are all 80 years old). We have geniuses that are able to dissect every quote from the books or snippet Cassie releases and try to analyze what it could possibly mean. We have the most dedicated fans, winning awards for Clary and Jace which awarded us with even more of Cassie’s lovely words. I just love all of you guys. We are a great fandom.

A scene from the finale of City of Ashes, by Cassandra Clare. This is one of my all time favorite scenes, not only because it’s Magnus and Alec. It’s just so raw, and gives me chills every time I read it! I wanted to paint it as close to the way I saw it in my head, before something changed it for me :]
Alec is thrown from the boat, and is pulled from the water by Magnus, who has been working tirelessly and thanklessly in the truck keeping up his spells to help them, and uses more energy still to rescue Alec. Alec soon realizes how exhausted Magnus is, and offers him the use of his own energy, whatever help it might be.
